OPTIMIZATION MODEL FOR RESERVOIR WATER BODY SURFACE AREA USE IN THE FLOATING PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT

This research intends to optimize the use of reservoir inundation surface area as Floating Photovoltaic Power Plant (PLTS). The location is in Waduk Jatigede, Cijeungjing Village-Jatigede District-Sumedang Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. Jatigede a multi-function reservoir. used for raw water, irrigation, flood control, recreation, sport, and Based on data solar radiation intensity, wind velocity, temperature, this analyze effect EBT optimization model using water surface.The methodology includes body (PLTS) Simplex Linear Programming. implemented under three scenarios follows: 1) Design floating PLTS island with attending bathymetry measurement; 2) without measurement by dimension 160 m x 320 m; 3) m. results show that utilization based result 16,703,000 m2 or 1,670.3 ha (42.25%) from total 3,953 electrical production 3,078 MWp average 5,617 GWp per-year; evaluation performance indicates operation pattern simulation Method can fulfil demand. last has reliability 79.17%, volatility 80.00%, vulnerability 28.74%. It means ability amount 79.17% fulfilling Meanwhile returning back satisfied condition failure demand 82.92%, case failure, 28.74% cannot be fulfilled deficit 7.67 million m3 per 15 days every event.
